Our program is highly successful at helping children on their weight loss and health journey while we create and sustain new healthy habits. This can be done with or without the use of approved weight loss medications.

The Confident Body Program

Pillars Of Success

Goal Setting and Accountability

We help your child set personal health goals and keep them accountable through progress tracking and high touch support.

Diet and Nutrition

We educate your child on balanced nutrition, hydration, and healthy eating habits to foster long-term wellness so they are confident in choosing the best foods for their body.

Physical Activity

We promote regular physical activity to enhance your child's fitness by helping them find and engage in activities they enjoy.

Mindset and Mindfulness

We help your child develop a positive mindset for their health and body image and teach mindfulness practices to support their emotional and mental well-being.

Family Relationships

We help strengthen family involvement and communication to create a supportive environment for your child's health journey.

Our Simple 3-Step Process

Step 1

Consultation

Meet with our Pediatric Endocrinologist and Nurse Practitioner for a comprehensive medical review which may include labs or other forms of testing to assess for medical root causes of your child’s weight challenges.

Step 2

Customized Program

Based on our consultation and test results, we will determine if your child is a good fit for CBP. If so, you'll schedule your first coaching session, and we'll create customized goals and a realistic weight loss plan.

Step 3

Journey Begins

Begin our 6th month Confident Body Program tailored to your child's unique medical needs, lifestyle, and goals.

What makes us different?

Our unique combination of proven approaches

After years of helping kids lose weight in a primary care setting, it became clear that a different approach was needed. Weight loss isn't just physical; it's mental, emotional, and relational. It demands lifestyle changes that can be confusing and overwhelming for both kids and parents.

This is exactly what makes CBP different.

Drawing on the expertise and compassion of two board-certified medical professionals with decades of experience in pediatric mental and physical healthcare, we are confident that our innovative program will empower your child with the transformation and confidence they deserve.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if my child’s hormones are causing weight gain?

Our treatment plan for your child will be based on a thorough medical consultation and a comprehensive review of your child's health history. During the consultation with our endocrinologist and nurse practitioner, we will determine which labs or other tests are needed to rule out or identify medical conditions impacting their weight.

I just want my child on weight loss medication, like Semaglutide. Do we have to do all the other stuff?

Although we understand your desire to get your child quick results, we do not believe in “band- aid” approaches. We believe in getting to the root cause and creating lasting results instead of a temporary quick fix. We’ve developed a highly personalized, concierge program and service that will teach you and your child ways to not only get weight loss results, but keep them. This will be one of the best investments you make in your child.

Will my child need to take weight loss drugs?

Most of our patients do not require weight loss medications, and our goal is to use them only when absolutely necessary. We will thoroughly assess your child's medical history and lifestyle to determine if medication is needed.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance; however, we can provide a receipt that you can submit to your insurance plan for potential reimbursement. We also offer a financing option. Please inquire if you have financial concerns.

Will I be included in my child’s process?

Absolutely. Your involvement is essential. You are a crucial part of your child’s health journey and a necessary component in helping them achieve their goals.

Do we need to come into the office for visits?

No, all our services are conducted virtually via telemedicine from the comfort of your home. We offer a concierge-style service, providing you with more access to us than a typical medical practice.

Do we have to do the full 6 month program or do you offer other packages?

The CBP is a 6 month program and there is not a shorter option. It can take time to find what works and then consistently implement new habits. We’ve intentionally designed every element of this program with your child's success in mind, and that includes the length of time needed.

What are the 12 coaching sessions like?

These sessions are the heart of what this program is all about. Crystal works directly with you and your child, taking time to get to know you, your lifestyle, and what will work best for you and your child. We set and review specific goals related to diet, exercise, and lifestyle habits that are realistic. The sessions are a combination of coaching and teaching. Crystal understands how to connect with your child, learn what motivates them, and help them make changes. We can’t wait to meet you!
