Dr. Toni Kim
Dr. Kim graduated from Stony Brook University magna cum laude, having studied biochemistry and music. She then stayed for medical school, when it became apparent to her that Pediatric Endocrinology was her calling. Dr. Kim did pediatric residency, and stayed on for the honor of Pediatric Chief Resident, at New York Medical College, Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. She then completed her Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship at Children’s Hospital Colorado and the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes.
Having been afforded the opportunity to work in various medical settings, including Dell Children’s Hospital in Austin, TX, and Goryeb Children’s Hospital in New Jersey, Dr. Kim spent many years on faculty at New York Medical College, which is where she was practicing before coming to Atlanta in 2018. She is honored that many of her patients have followed her, through the years, along her geographic journey.
Life Pediatric Endocrinology has been a dream in the making for Dr. Kim because of her desire to practice focusing on the specific needs of the individual. She appreciates investing in her patients and being responsive to their needs efficiently and effectively whether a family calls, texts, or emails.
Dr. Kim relocated here with her family, from New York, to reconnect with Southern Hospitality, family values, and milder winters! She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and practicing her Zumba routines, for which she is a certified instructor.
Dr. Kim in the news:
“I recently had the honor of being interviewed by WebMD regarding Central Precocious Puberty and the effects of early puberty. I hope this short educational video will help families both in their understanding, and in reaching out to medical professionals for help.”
