What does "concierge medicine" mean at Life Pediatric Endocrinology?
Concierge medicine means that you are receiving personalized care at a personalized price - out of network from insurance - to the level of care your child needs. We understand that insurance can provide you one level of care - we want to dive deeper, and support you in more meaningful ways. Many insurance companies will still pay for blood tests, radiology, and many medications we prescribe. We will even work with your insurance company to help you get the support you need in those ways. Some flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, and insurance companies will reimburse our fees based on the receipts, known as superbills, that we provide.
Do you offer telemedicine?
We understand that many aspects of your child’s care can be handled remotely, and try to do as much as possible to streamline care. This includes connecting over video chat, email, text, and phone calls whenever possible.
Will you talk with my other healthcare providers, family members or the school?
With your permission, we will work with whomever your child needs in order for them to live their fullest life. We believe in teamwork - with you, and whomever else is on your team!
Where can we see you?
At the moment, we can serve patients in the Georgia area, Massachusetts, and Texas. We are expanding to other states in the near future, including California and New York. We are open to expansion in other states, as well, so let us know where you are!
